It’s been almost a full year since I’ve updated my journal here. I thought I should say hi. Hi.
As you can see I’ve suddenly gotten into a Star Wars Kotor thing. I like it, what can I say?
Still waiting to get my hands on Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Volume 4. Come on Darkhorse, don’t let me down.
In the meantime, I’ve started my own Kotor comic project. *dodges tomatoes* I know, I know, I’ve had comic projects before that completely fell through… but I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time now and I just have to do something with it. Hopefully it all works out.
Basically, it follows the main story overall, but deviates in how the story gets from point A to B. Anyone who’s ever played Kotor already knows the story, and all the options… I’m not going to use them.
Anyone who’s read fanfiction knows it’s notoriously overpopulated with Mary Sues. This is especially true with Kotor mainly because even in game cannon, no matter how one plays, the PC is already Sue.
I think it would be an interesting writing challenge to take some of the focus off Revan/Exile and pay more attention to the other characters instead.

In other news, I’ve been in the Army for almost a year now. I’m all done with basic and AIT. Met some cool people, put holes in targets, had a blast. I’m going to Iraq soon. I’m not sure what it will be like there, probably not very pleasant.
I get to home on leave for a bit first though. Come Tuesday, I’ll be home. Can’t wait to see my family and friends again.
